Don’t miss out! Top 5 Underrated Asian Artists to Check Out

    March 30, 2022 /

I love supporting the Asian community by listening to different Asian artists and sharing their music with others. Growing up, I was never exposed to modern music made by Asian Americans or Asians around the world as the community I lived in was predominantly white. It is so inspiring to see musicians that we identify with culturally succeed and share their talents with the world.

Must-Add Songs for Your Holiday Playlist

    December 24, 2021 /

As much as I love to hear the holiday classics on the radio, these songs and many others by Asian artists have recently been on repeat this festive season. It is so nice to have Asian representation in music, especially when the majority of classic holiday songs are not performed by POC artists. Here are some of my favorites you can add to your Spotify or Apple Music playlist to get in the holiday spirit!

    Korean Music

    June 6, 2020 /

by Ezra Lee How and why the Korean music scene is so different from America Over the past couple years, the Korean music scene has been gaining major traction internationally. Most notably, K-Pop has soared above the other genres due to its catchiness and idol groups (other music genres such as jazz, rock, R&B, and ballads that are greatly appreciated and enjoyed in Korea more than pop don’t seem to appeal to other countries as much).
