In celebration of the Lunar New Year, the University of Delaware’s Vietnamese Student Association hosted a spectacular event called Gather for Tet. This culturally enticing event shared many traditions of Vietnamese culture, as well as other Asian groups. Celebrating the year of the tiger, UDVSA provided us with a full and fun itinerary.

I love supporting the Asian community by listening to different Asian artists and sharing their music with others. Growing up, I was never exposed to modern music made by Asian Americans or Asians around the world as the community I lived in was predominantly white. As Asians artists make their mark on the media through the Shang-Chi soundtrack or even through Tik Tok trends, I personally can’t help but be super excited for them. It is so inspiring to see musicians that we identify with culturally succeed and share their talents with the world.
