    A Senior Farewell

    When people say that time flies, they really weren’t kidding. The time I spent at the University of Delaware has been a whirlwind of odd mishaps, life lessons, and poignant memories. What I’ve realized over the course of four years is that the community you surround yourself with will undoubtedly shape the person that you become. I know that this statement can seem like common sense, but I still found it very easy to underestimate its effects.

    What is Sustainable Art?

    When I think of sustainable art, I think of creating sculptures from recycled materials. I also think of Spencer Shay from iCarly, who created many abstract pieces made from the most random things, like a plastic bottle robot. While I would call some of his works from the show sustainable, I don’t think the giant toast sculpture made from pounds and pounds of butter counts. iCarly was a hit show that many people watched, and this was my introduction to sustainable art and I bet many others too.
