2026 Senior Spotlight: Sophia Li

Hey everyone! My name is Sophia Li, and I’m a senior at the University of Delaware with a major in Biology and a minor in Forensics.

When people say time flies, they are not kidding. As senior year comes to an end, I can’t help but think about what the next step of my life is going to be, which I haven’t exactly figured out…

The four years of college have felt like a fever dream. I met so many new people and learned so much. I never thought I would see myself as a senior in college, let alone make it this far. I still can’t fully process that, soon, I have to start working a full-time job…

I joined AAPC in my senior year because I wanted to try something new and see for myself how much fun it was. Joining AAPC was a great decision, and I learned so much from being in the club. Even though I have not been in this club for a long time, I still had such an amazing experience. Being the Audio Content Technician was something I wanted to do because I love editing a lot, and it’s something I’ve grown confident in by doing it for years. I knew that if I joined and picked that role, I would have a fun time editing and be good at it. I joined not only because I wanted that role, but also because AAPC is a club that promotes Asian awareness. As an Asian American myself, being in this club is like a second home to me. Having GBMs related to Asian culture is so exciting; for example, we had one for Lunar New Year. I love spreading my culture and being in an environment where it is welcome and accepted.

College is more than just academics and career; it’s about the combined experience of the people we meet and the memories we create.
