My Anime Tier List

Whether you’re in need of some anime recommendations or want an opinion on some, I’m going to be creating a tier list of some of the mainstream anime series: Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK), Hunter x Hunter, and Haikyuu. Some of you may disagree with my tier list but at least hear out my reasoning.
1. Jujutsu Kaisen
To start off, I’m going to place JJK as an S tier anime. If you haven’t heard about this anime yet, you need to stop living under a rock. This anime is absolutely worth binge watching, with the amazing fight scenes and unique characters, it truly captivates anyone looking for a show to watch. JJK also isn’t a time commitment like other anime such as Bleach or One Piece. With only two seasons (still ongoing), I recommend giving this anime a shot especially if it’s your first.
2. Hunter x Hunter
Next up, I would put Hunter x Hunter as an A tier anime. Don’t get me wrong, Hunter x Hunter is a phenomenal anime to watch and I would watch it again for Killua. However, I’m not putting it as a S tier anime because it is a fairly long anime to watch, about 148 episodes. For some hardcore anime watchers, some would say this is not long enough but for people that don’t have that much time to watch, it’s a lot. Another reason why it doesn’t deserve a spot as S tier is because the anime stopped airing episodes so the anime felt incomplete. It’s not the writer’s fault that he injured his back but that is just why Hunter x Hunter is not S tier.
3. Haikyuu
Finally, I’ll put Haikyuu as an A tier anime. Haikyuu is a great sports anime to watch and is a main reason why I got into volleyball in the first place. The anime doesn’t have an overwhelming amount of episodes (85), and does a stupendous job of hyping up volleyball in the show. However, Haikyuu doesn’t deserve to be placed as S tier because I felt like the anime gets dull and repetitive. The anime does have some unique characters that alleviates the dullness, but I felt like the plot and storyline could be better.
That’s it for my tier list of JJK, Hunter x Hunter, and Haikyuu. I hope you guys can agree with my opinion of these mainstream anime series.
