Estimated cooking time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- Sirloin Beef
- Red and Green Bell Peppers (can substitute any vegetable)
- Oyster Sauce
- Sesame Oil
- Soy Sauce
- Minced Garlic
- Brown sugar
Let’s Get Cookin’
Step 1:
- Cut the sirloin beef into bite-sized pieces
- Cook the beef on a non-stick pan for 2-3 minutes on each side with medium heat- until medium rare
- Cut the green and red bell peppers while you wait for the beef to cook
Step 2:
- Drizzle oyster sauce in 2 circular motions onto beef (just as if you were icing a cake!)
- Add a dash of soy sauce and sesame oil
o be careful not to add too much of the sesame oil because the oil has a very strong taste
- Add a pinch of brown sugar
- Stir fry beef for 3 extra minutes
Step 3:
- Scoop beef out with a spoon and set aside
- Use sauce left over in pan and add a smidge of water to it before tossing the vegetables in there
- Cover pan with lid to steam vegetables for 5 minutes
Step 4:
- Once bell peppers are steamed, add beef back into the pan to stir fry everything together
- Add one scoop of minced garlic
- Drizzle oyster sauce for 1 more round
- Add a dash more of soy sauce
- Cook for 3 more minutes
That’s it! Once you’re done, you can plate it with some rice and drizzle the extra sauce on top. Enjoy!
