Anime is generally defined as a Japanese animated work. Throughout the past few years, anime has slowly become more and more mainstream. Not only has this art form been successful in East Asia, but Western countries have also seen this type of entertainment explode in popularity. With that being said, each anime genre is often said to have a specific fanbase. Stereotypes have come to fruition. Here is what your favorite anime genre says about you.
Action
You get excited by conflicts and often imagine yourself being a hero. Fight sequences excite you and make you want to pick up martial arts in your free time. Seeing these strong characters on the screen motivates you to work out and protect those around you. If you were to say what anime character is most like you, you would say Gojo Satoru.
Romance
You are one lonely person…
Slice of Life
You like the simple things in life. Slice of Life anime allows you to reflect and reminisce about your past experiences. If one word were to describe you, it would be wholesome. You want to live life to the fullest without leaving any regrets behind. As you grow older, your desire to explore and travel will expand as well.
Comedy
You are laid back and like to joke around with your friends. Having a good time is your number one priority. You want others to feel comfortable and will crack jokes in order to achieve that. As a way to fight off stress, you use comedic shows to relax and have a good laugh.

Observing and analyzing the world around you is one of your favorite things to do. You don’t trust others easily. You can often be hard to read. When people talk to you, they cannot read your emotions. Noticing small details is something you cannot control. You love going to escape rooms.

Harry Potter is your favorite movie franchise. Attending school at Hogwarts is your lifelong dream. You spend your free time learning card tricks and watch youtube clips of magicians performing on America’s Got Talent.
