This October is jam packed with anime drops and I’m here to list some of the most anticipated animes that are dropping this month!
Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War
Starts October 1st, airs every Saturday
The new season of My Hero Academia is supposedly a season many fans have been looking forward to. The story follows the Paranormal Liberation War Arc; this covers the battle between the UA High school students and the Paranormal Liberation Front, which is led by Tomura Shigaraki which leads to a war that could change superhuman society.
My Hero Academia: Season 6
Starts October 1st, airs every Saturday
After the success of part of the series, fans have been eagerly waiting for the next part of Spy x Family to release. Part 2 will follow the family getting closer with their newest family member, their big white dog named Bond who happens to have mysterious powers. On top of this Anya tackles more difficult challenges at her prestigious school. A new character appears, WISE agent Fiona Frost, who could cause trouble for the dynamic of the Forger family.
Spy x Family: Part 2
Starts October 1st, airs every Saturday

Mob Psycho 100: Season 3
Starts October 6th, airs every Thursday
After 3 years, Mob Psycho has finally returned with its 3rd season. This season will pick up where season 2 finished with Mob becoming more confident outside of his abilities with Toichiro Suzuki being defeated. The season will also dive into the divine tree arc, which follows cults that believe their deities are responsible for growing the giant tree left from the end of season 2.
Chainsaw Man: Season 1
Starts October 12th, airs every Wednesday
As one of the most anticipated anime of the year, fans have been waiting patiently for this series to drop. The story follows a teenage boy named Denji, who ends up having to pay his father’s debts after he dies by killing demons. One day, Denji is almost killed by the yakuza, but is ultimately saved by his pet, Pochita, who ends up merging with him. Denji, now with body parts that can become chainsaws, joins an organization fighting against demons.
