Diana Hu – Niantic
Diana Hu is the cofounder for Escher Reality which went through the Summer 2017 batch of Y-Combinator’s startup accelerator program. Escher Reality was acquired by Niantic in 2018 and now Diana is head of their AR (augmented reality) platform.
Niantic’s primary product is the Niantic Lightship, which is an AR platform that allows users to interact in the virtual world blended seamlessly with the real world. It’s scalable to hold millions of users and can manage communication, security, mapping, and AR functionality. Games that use Niantic Lightship include Harry Potter, Wizard Unite, Pokemon Go, and Ingress Game.
Harry Zhang is the cofounder at Lob, a business that enables enterprises to programmatically send physical mail. They were a part of the Y-Combinator’s Summer 2013 Batch.
One of their products include print and mail which allows users to program and control direct mail just like email. Additionally, Lob verifies address deliverability to reduce returned mail and customer verification costs. Their solutions apply to a multitude of fields such as financial services, healthcare, insurance, and retail and E-commerce, where they can help teams and their product managers, developers, and marketers. Some of their notable customers include Spire Law, Blue Chip, the Travis Manion Foundation, Congress, Cards, Resistbot, MuckRock, JustFix.nyc, etc.
